About The Position

Texas Health Dallas is seeking a full-time Cardiovascular Special Procedures Tech for their Cath Lab. This role involves performing complex cardiovascular procedures, assisting radiologists, and ensuring high-quality patient care. The department is a Level 1 Trauma and Certified Stroke Center with 4 procedure rooms, offering self-scheduling for work-life balance and career growth opportunities. Requirements

• Associate degree in applied science required OR Completion of accredited program in radiologic or cardiovascular technology required OR High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2 years of work experience in invasive cardiology required.
• ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist upon hire required or RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist upon required or CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT upon hire
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
• ACLS—Advanced Cardiac Life Support—within 90 days required

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred
• Will consider newly graduated in radiologic or cardiovascular technology

Responsibilities

• Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam.
• Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.
• Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
• Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS.
