About The Position

Texas Health Cath Lab Technologists are responsible for assessing and recognizing the patient’s emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions. This role is for a Cardiovascular Special Procedures Technician in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Texas Health Fort Worth. The department is fast-paced, high-volume, and team-oriented. The position offers a sign-on bonus for eligible new hires.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Applied Science required or Completion of an accredited program in cardiovascular technology (Must obtain RCIS within six (6) months) required or High school diploma or equivalent with two (2) years’ work experience in invasive cardiology required
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire required
RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Obtain within 6 months if graduate from Cardiovascular Accredited program) upon hire required
RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (For Electrophysiology Labs (EP) only) upon hire required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required

Nice To Haves

GMRT-General Medical Radiologic Technologist (if ARRT only) upon hire preferred
LMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (if RCIS only) upon hire preferred
One (1) year vascular or cardiac angiography experience preferred
Two (2) years’ experience with high school diploma required
Two (2) years Cath Lab experience strongly preferred
