Texas Health Interventional Radiology Technologists are responsible for assessing and recognizing the patient’s emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions. The experienced and compassionate team in Cardiac Cath / IR Lab care for patients with Cardiac, Peripheral Vascular or Electrophysiology related disease. Additionally, they offer Interventional Radiology procedures such as vascular access, biliary and urinary interventions, and venous and arterial thrombectomy. For clinical staff, a 30-minute call response time is required, which includes STEMI call. The facility is Magnet designated, Joint Commission certified in chest pain, heart failure and stroke, certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Rehabilitation and a Texas Ten Step Member Mother Friendly Worksite. This is a PRN (as needed) position with hours dependent on cases, including rotating weekend, holidays, and call requirements.
