About The Position
Seeking a Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgeon for locum tenens coverage in Springfield, OH. This is an inpatient, call-only position for supplemental coverage. The coverage period is from May 28, 2026, ongoing, with a call schedule of 7a-7a for ongoing sporadic coverages. The practice consists of one physician and two mid-level support staff. The facility has 250 total beds, with 60 ICU beds, and offers onsite Lab & Xray services. The EMR system used is Epic.
Requirements
- Active OH License
- BC in Cardiovascular, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery
- BLS, ACLS
- Clean Record
Responsibilities
- General CV/Thoracic/Vascular Surgeries
- Coronary Bypass Artery Surgery
- Congenital Defects
- Valvular repair/replacements
- Aneurysm repair
- Lung resection (including VATs)
- Chest wall/pleural procedures
- Esophagus/diaphragm surgeries
- Endarterectomy (Carotid & Renal)
- Ventilation Management
- Bronchoscopy
- Evaluation & management of acute vol/BP issues
