About The Position
Seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgical Physician Assistant with a minimum of 1+ year of surgical experience to assist with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery. The role involves coverage for hospital rounding, assisting in surgery (both elective and emergent), and providing assistance in the clinic. The position is located at Trinity Health System in an acute hospital setting. The Full-time PA is on vacation, creating a need for coverage.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ year surgical experience.
- Licensed in Ohio.
- ACLS certification.
- DEA certification.
- NCCPA certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with CABG, thoracic, vascular, and cardiac surgery.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery.
- Provide coverage for hospital rounding.
- Assist in elective and emergent surgeries.
- Provide assistance in the clinic.
- Take call, including 24-hour call on weekends and night call on weekdays.
