About The Position
We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens position in Lima, OH. This inpatient role requires 24-hour call coverage for cardiothoracic surgery, including performing various cardiac surgeries such as CABG, valve repair/replacement, and pericardial window procedures. The coverage period is from September 11-16, 2026, with the possibility of 10-14 days per month. Rounding is included. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center with an Epic EMR system and a support staff of 3 PAs. Temporary privileges are available, with a credentialing timeline of 30 days.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Active OH License
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Fellowship training required
- Must be able to perform all required procedures
Nice To Haves
- EPIC experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour call coverage for cardiothoracic surgery.
- Perform coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and arterial revascularization.
- Conduct heart valve repair/replacement surgeries, including mitral valve repair.
- Perform pericardial window procedures.
- Manage redo coronary revascularization cases.
