About The Position

Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician to join an established, collegial group of three cardiothoracic surgeons. This is a full-service position supporting complex, high-acuity work within a nationally recognized cardiac surgery destination. The role offers the opportunity to practice clinical excellence in a world-class South Florida lifestyle. The position is based at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, a 199-bed acute care hospital serving the Palm Beach County and Treasure Coast communities for over 50 years. The hospital is part of the Palm Beach Health Network and is a leader in cardiac care, being the first in Palm Beach County to perform open-heart surgery. The medical center also offers award-winning stroke care, neurosurgery, urology, orthopedics, robot-assisted and minimally invasive surgical techniques, bloodless medicine, and a 24-hour emergency room.

Requirements

Board certified or board eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery

Responsibilities

Perform cardiothoracic surgery.
Support comprehensive cardiac services including coronary screening and cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology and AFib ablation/laparoscopic AFib surgery, TAVR, TCAR, and convergent procedure, ASD repair, PVL closure, and vascular surgery, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair and endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR).
