About The Position

Doctors Medical Center is seeking a full-time, employed Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join their growing multi-specialty group. This role offers a fully supported cardiothoracic program with advanced surgical technology, including an active TAVR program, ECMO capabilities, and a hybrid OR. The position is designed for a surgeon who wants to lead complex cases without the administrative burden of private practice, focusing on clinical excellence and work-life balance. The practice mix is 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient, with a 1:3 call schedule and Monday-Friday scheduled OR time.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• California licensed or eligible to obtain California licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex cardiothoracic surgery cases.
• Practice at the highest level utilizing advanced surgical technology.
• Engage in both inpatient and outpatient care.
• Participate in a 1:3 call schedule.
• Utilize hybrid OR, Xi Da Vinci robotic systems, and dedicated cardiac cath and EP labs.
