About The Position

Seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery NP/PA for a Locum Tenens position in San Bernardino, CA. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient services, providing supplemental coverage on an ongoing basis. The primary responsibility is call-only coverage, with a 24-hour call schedule (7a-7a) for 4 shifts per month. The patient volume is typically 4-5 patients per shift, and daily rounding is included. The practice includes 3 other Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Key procedures include CABG, AVRs, Lung, and Vein Harvest. Duties encompass first assist in surgery, hospital rounding, being on call, rooming patients, and charting using the Cerner EMR system. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Requirements

• Active CA License
• BC in CT
• BLS
• Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days)
• Will accept BC in General Surgery but did a CT Surgery Fellowship
