About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery in Lebanon, PA. The role involves providing clinical coverage and 24-hour call, primarily on weekends, from October 23, 2026, to January 22, 2027. The NP/PA will manage adult patients (18+) undergoing cardiac surgery, including post-operative care and handling urgent cases from the cath lab. The position requires performing vein harvesting procedures and consulting with available surgeon backup as needed. The facility utilizes the EPIC EMR system.
Requirements
- Active PA license or IMLC/LOQ
- DEA required
- 3 years of experience
- Hospital privileges required

Responsibilities
- Provide weekend coverage from Friday 5pm to Monday 7am (24-hour call)
- Handle urgent cardiac surgical cases from the cath lab
- Perform vein harvesting procedures
- Round on patients and manage post-operative care
