About The Position

Piedmont Physician Network is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our expanding, employed team serving Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative cardiothoracic service line with strong administrative support, advanced technology, and a growing referral network. This employed position offers a mix of cardiothoracic surgery cases and the opportunity to practice alongside an accomplished cardiothoracic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience. It provides a rare combination of mentorship, collaboration, and professional growth, suitable for new graduates seeking mentorship or experienced surgeons looking to join an established program. The role includes a dedicated cardiothoracic OR team and support staff, access to advanced surgical technologies, and a collaborative relationship with cardiology, interventional cardiology, and vascular specialists, supported by a large primary care and specialty referral network.

Requirements

MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
