About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist to join a dynamic clinical team in Minneapolis, MN. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering a consistent weekday schedule, competitive compensation, and exposure to a broad range of complex surgical cases, with a primary focus on cardiothoracic procedures.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology
- Active and unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Must meet all credentialing and privileging requirements
Responsibilities
- Deliver anesthesia services across multiple clinical environments: Operating Room (OR), GI Suite, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Manage a diverse case mix, including: Cardiothoracic procedures (primary focus), Orthopedic, vascular, neurosurgical, ENT, ophthalmologic, and general surgery cases
- Provide comprehensive perioperative care: Pre-operative patient assessments, Intraoperative anesthesia management, Post-anesthesia care and recovery oversight
- Support additional clinical functions: ICU patient management, Acute and chronic pain management, Emergency airway management and intervention
- Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
