About The Position

This is a full-time, on-site position suited for an Associate-level physician eager to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care within a collaborative and patient-focused clinical environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions while contributing to the ongoing growth and reputation of the practice. As a Cardiologist you will work alongside a team of experienced healthcare professionals committed to excellence in patient outcomes. The position involves evaluating patients, developing comprehensive treatment plans, performing diagnostic procedures, and coordinating care with referring physicians and specialists. You will play a key role in advancing the practice's cardiovascular services and ensuring that every patient receives compassionate, evidence-based care.

Requirements

MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree from an accredited institution
Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiology
Valid medical license to practice in the state of North Carolina
Associate-level experience in cardiology or related clinical practice
Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions
Proficiency in interpreting cardiac diagnostic tests and imaging
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site clinical environment
Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
Strong attention to detail and adherence to medical best practices
Willingness to participate in continuing medical education

Additional training or subspecialty experience in cardiology

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular diseases and conditions
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history taking and physical examinations
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for cardiac patients
Perform or assist with cardiac procedures and interventions as appropriate
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulations
Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health and disease prevention
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols
Stay current with advances in cardiology research and treatment methods
Provide consultative services to other departments and referring providers
