Cardiology Physician Assistant
About The Position
Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient and inpatient noninvasive cardiology care at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Schuylkill. This role involves performing cardiology consultations and diagnostic evaluations, interpreting ECGs, Holter monitors, event monitors, laboratory data, and chest radiographs. The advanced practice clinician (APC) will also supervise and support cardiac stress testing, collaborate with cardiologists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams, and practice within a well-established, fully supported, and growing program. The position offers a flexible schedule, including per-diem consideration, and is ideal for APCs who value meaningful patient relationships, broad clinical exposure, and the ability to make a visible impact while remaining connected to a large, sophisticated health system. Requirements
- Valid License/Certification in Pennsylvania, or the ability to obtain one
- 3 years of experience as an APC in a cardiology setting
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient, non-invasive cardiology care
- Perform cardiology consultations and diagnostic evaluations
- Interpret ECGs, Holter monitors, event monitors, laboratory data and chest radiographs
- Supervise and support cardiac stress testing
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams
- Practice in a well-established, fully supported and growing program offering both autonomy and team-based support
