About The Position

Award-winning medical system in the Southeast is recruiting for an experienced Cardiology APP (Advanced Practice Provider) to serve the needs of the Richmond County community. FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a private healthcare network serving the mid-Carolinas, nationally recognized as a top 150 place to work in healthcare by Becker’s Healthcare. This role offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient practice with a Monday-Friday schedule. Inpatient responsibilities include new consults, stress test supervision, follow-up visits, and early discharges. Outpatient responsibilities include new patient clinic visits and follow-up visits, along with timely administrative tasks in the Epic EMR. You will be part of a full-service cardiology practice with over 30 experienced providers across 6 clinic locations, supporting 5 hospitals in the region. Requirements

• NP must be a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Education program and have national certification.
• PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
• Prefer 2+ years of advanced practice experience in Cardiology.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision making.
• Clean background, NC licensure, NC DEA, and AHA BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities
