APP - Cardiology - Hamlet
About The Position
Award-winning medical system in the Southeast is recruiting for an experienced Cardiology APP to serve the needs of the Richmond County community. FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a private health care network serving the mid-Carolinas, nationally recognized as a top 150 place to work in health care by Becker’s Healthcare. This position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient practice with a Monday-Friday schedule. Inpatient responsibilities include new consults, stress test supervision, follow-up visits, and early discharges. Outpatient responsibilities include new patient clinic visits and follow-up visits along with timely administrative tasks in Epic EMR. The practice is a full-service cardiology practice with over 30 experienced providers in 6 clinic locations supporting 5 hospitals in the region. The APP will be a member of the FirstHealth Physician Group, a team of over 400 hospital-employed providers.
Requirements
- NP must be a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Education program and have national certification.
- PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision making.
- Clean background, NC licensure, NC DEA, and AHA BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer 2+ years of advanced practice experience Cardiology.
- ACLS preferred.
