About The Position

Ascension Medical Group Via Christi is seeking a high-caliber Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their elite cardiology team. This is an opportunity to practice at the top of your license within a mission-driven, nonprofit health system known for clinical excellence and a supportive, collaborative culture. Join an established team of 6 physicians and 11 APPs. The practice setting is Outpatient/Inpatient. The role requires a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration. The position offers a chance to join a collaborative, high-performing cardiology team, providing comprehensive cardiovascular care with strong support, mentorship, and streamlined work-flows. The facility is a 421-bed hospital, a Level I trauma center, serving a population of approximately 650,000, with an integrated referral network. It is part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certified Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing preferred.
• Master's degree of Nursing required.
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
