MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Cardiology
About The Position
This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for an Associate-level physician eager to build a rewarding career in cardiovascular medicine within a dynamic and patient-focused environment. As a Cardiologist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care, contribute to clinical excellence, and support the continued growth of our cardiology services. The role offers the opportunity to engage in meaningful clinical work, including preventive cardiology, diagnostic testing, and ongoing patient management.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiology
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Florida
- Associate-level experience in cardiology or related clinical practice
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions
- Proficiency in interpreting cardiac diagnostic tests and imaging
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in medical documentation
- Willingness to participate in continuing medical education and professional development
- Ability to work on-site in Miami in a full-time capacity
- Must have academic experience

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular diseases and conditions
- Conduct comprehensive cardiac evaluations, including patient history and physical examinations
- Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and electrocardiograms
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with heart conditions
- Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions and provide ongoing patient follow-up care
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, and other specialists to coordinate patient care
- Provide preventive cardiology services, including risk assessment and lifestyle counseling
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in clinical rounds, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives
- Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, treatment options, and prevention strategies
- Stay current with advancements in cardiology through continued medical education
- Support the practice's growth by contributing to community outreach and patient engagement efforts
