About The Position

The Cardiovascular Institute and the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) are seeking candidates for full-time faculty positions in General clinical Cardiology, Cardio-Oncology, and Preventive Cardiology to develop varied consultative practices within a growing and dynamic academic Division. All applicants must be board certified or eligible in Cardiology, as well as eligible for Commonwealth of Massachusetts medical licensure. Level 3 training in echocardiography is preferred for general cardiology and cardio-oncology applicants. Responsibilities will include outpatient consultations on the main campus of BIDMC/DFCI and one its nearby community sites, as well as attending on the cardiology inpatient services and the Cardiac Direct Access Center. Applicants are expected to be actively engaged in teaching fellows, residents medical students and nurse practitioners -in-training. An academic teaching appointment at the level of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School (HMS), full or part-time, will be commensurate with experience. Requirements
