About The Position

Seeking a Cardiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Everett, WA. This is an inpatient role covering supplemental needs from September 7, 2026, to January 3, 2027. The coverage includes clinical duties and call, with specific shifts available throughout the coverage period. The role involves managing adult patients with a volume of 15-18 per day, working alongside 3 APPs. Procedures and duties include ICU, Echocardiography, TEE, and Nuclear Cardiology. The hospital has 615 beds, including 10 ICU beds, and is a Level II Trauma Center with on-site lab, treadmill, echo, EKG, and cath lab services. Epic is the EMR system used. Hospital privileges are required, with temporary privileges available.

Requirements

• Active WA License or IMLC
• Board Certified (BC) in Cardiology
• Ability to obtain hospital privileges.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology coverage.
• Perform clinical duties including managing adult patients.
• Participate in call duties, including nights.
• Perform procedures such as Echocardiography, TEE, and Nuclear Cardiology.
• Work in the ICU setting.
• Collaborate with support staff (3 APPs).
