About The Position

Locumsmart is seeking coverage for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Cardiology at Aspirus St. Lukes Hospital in Duluth, MN. This is a locum tenens assignment to cover a vacancy while a long-term APP position is recruited and filled. The provider will be responsible for seeing patients in an outpatient setting, with potential for telehealth. The typical daily schedule is 7 am to 5:30 pm, with 15 patients per day seen in 30-minute appointment slots. The core APP will handle hospital rounds, allowing the locum provider to focus on clinic patients daily. Coverage is needed for 1-2 weeks per month on an ongoing basis, with no call required.

Requirements

• Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology or Physician Assistant - Cardiology)
• Cardiology background strongly preferred.
• Electrophysiology background preferred.
• Ability to work 1-2 weeks per month.
• Credentialing timeframe of approximately 90 days.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities
