About The Position

We are looking for a patient-centered Endocrinologist to join our team of 5 Physicians (including 1 Pediatric Endocrinologist), 5 APC’s & 18 additional staff. This is a great position for work/life balance. The role involves call rotation including weekends, with coverage including inpatient diabetes care. We will openly discuss this as part of the interview process. Inpatient coverage is at St. Mary’s Medical Center, a 330-bed tertiary care hospital, Level I Trauma Center, or Essentia Health-Duluth, a 165-bed hospital – both located on the same connected campus. The physician will have the capability to apply and analyze the latest diabetes-related devices including pumps, sensors, and meters. This is primarily an outpatient practice, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with some outreach possible. Patient volume is 10-12 patients per day.

• BC/BE in Endocrinology

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered endocrinology care.
• Participate in call rotation, including weekends.
• Provide inpatient diabetes care coverage.

• Conduct primarily outpatient practice.
• Potentially participate in outreach.
