About The Position
We are looking for a patient-centered Endocrinologist to join our team of 5 Physicians (including 1 Pediatric Endocrinologist), 5 APC’s & 18 additional staff. This is a great position for work/life balance. Call rotation includes weekends and coverage includes inpatient diabetes care. Inpatient coverage is at St. Mary’s Medical Center, a 330-bed tertiary care hospital, Level I Trauma Center, or Essentia Health-Duluth, a 165-bed hospital – both located on the same connected campus. The role involves the capability to apply and analyze latest diabetes related devices including pumps, sensors, and meters. Primarily outpatient practice is Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Some outreach is possible. Patient volume is 10-12 patients per day.

Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered endocrinology care.
- Participate in call rotation, including weekends.
- Provide inpatient diabetes care coverage.
- Apply and analyze latest diabetes related devices including pumps, sensors, and meters.
- Conduct primarily outpatient practice.
- Potentially participate in outreach.
