About The Position

Heart and Vascular Care is seeking a stress technician to join its team. The role involves explaining exercise stress tests and stress echocardiograms to patients, producing quality stress test tracings, recognizing arrhythmias, and accurately performing exercise stress tests with or without pharmacological and nuclear agents. The technician monitors vital signs and takes manual blood pressures. Sporadic travel between offices may be needed to cover for paid time off and sick leave; mileage is reimbursed for travel between offices. Requirements

BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Explain the purpose and procedure of exercise stress tests and stress echocardiograms to patients.
Produce high-quality stress test tracings using proper techniques.
Recognize arrhythmias and notify the appropriate person when needed.
Perform exercise stress tests accurately, with or without pharmacological and nuclear agents.
Monitor all vital signs and take manual blood pressures accurately.
Travel between offices sporadically to cover for PTO and sick leave when needed.
