About The Position

Performs cardiac echocardiography examinations on adult and geriatric patients, including 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping, and cardiac Doppler studies. Maintains performance improvement documentation for cardiac and ultrasound in accordance with IAC requirements.

Requirements

• Hold an appropriate echocardiography credential: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS; Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from CCI; Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS) from Sonography Canada; or Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from CCI.
• Hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Nice To Haves

• Membership in one or more professional societies related to sonography.
• Graduate of an accredited sonography or cardiovascular technology program.
