About The Position

The United Health Services Hospitals Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking an Imaging Cardiologist to join our growing Cardiology Imaging program. The program currently has one Imaging trained Cardiologist and several additional reading physicians supporting a high-volume cardiac CT/MRI program. The Heart & Vascular Institute also has 12 cardiologists including 3 interventionalists, 3 electrophysiologists and 4 non-interventionalists, and 13 cardiology NPs. We also have 3 cardiothoracic surgeons, 3 surgical PAs, and 2 CVICU NPs in our surgical program. You will work beside highly trained professionals with a strong dedication to excellent quality cardiac care. Must be BC/BE in Cardiology or must obtain their Board Certification within two (2) years of hire and completion of an ACGME accredited fellowship program. UHS has a long standing, robust and productive interventional cardiology department with excellent patient outcomes. Must have MRI expertise. UHS Heart & Vascular also offers teaching opportunities within our Cardiology Fellowship (9 fellows total), as well as teaching residents and medical students with Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, and the ability to participate in clinical research.

Requirements

BC/BE in Cardiology or must obtain their Board Certification within two (2) years of hire and completion of an ACGME accredited fellowship program.
MRI expertise.
