Cardiac Imaging Physician
About The Position
The United Health Services Hospitals Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking an Imaging Cardiologist to join their growing Cardiology Imaging program. The program currently has one Imaging trained Cardiologist and several additional reading physicians supporting a high-volume cardiac CT/MRI program. The Heart & Vascular Institute also has 12 cardiologists including 3 interventionalists, 3 electrophysiologists and 4 non-interventionalists, and 13 cardiology NPs. They also have 3 cardiothoracic surgeons, 3 surgical PAs, and 2 CVICU NPs in their surgical program. The physician will work beside highly trained professionals with a strong dedication to excellent quality cardiac care.
Requirements
- BC/BE in Cardiology or must obtain Board Certification within two (2) years of hire.
- Completion of an ACGME accredited fellowship program.
- MRI expertise.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac CT/MRI imaging.
- Support the Cardiology Fellowship program by teaching fellows.
- Teach residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.
- Participate in clinical research.
