About The Position

ChristianaCare is currently recruiting for a highly motivated and skilled Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in their Cardiovascular Critical Care Complex (Medical). The role involves admitting and managing multiple critically ill patients in collaboration with intensivists, fellows, and residents. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a high acuity, fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy. While a minimum of 1 year of critical care experience is preferred, new graduates will be considered. Formal individualized onboarding and orientation will be provided.

Requirements

Physician Assistant must be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program and have NCCPA Certification
Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification required
License or license eligible for the State of Delaware
Prescriptive authority and controlled substance license for state of Delaware
Federal DEA
ACLS certification
