About The Position
Executes appropriate patient care by assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures. Supports team members before, during, and following procedures to assure optimal patient care. Registry may define responsibilities specific to each registry but does not limit activities performed under direct physician supervision.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in cardiac catheterization for diagnostic and interventional procedures, cardiovascular patient care, radiographic special procedures, and/or hemodynamic monitoring is accepted.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, including changing daily schedules and emergency and on-call procedures.
- Ability to work with patients with acute, chronic, and complex cardiac disease.
- Maintain absolute integrity in the accurate performance and reporting of diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to learn techniques quickly and accurately.
