About The Position
Executes appropriate patient care by assisting the physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures. Supports team members before, during, and following procedures to assure optimal patient care. Registry may define responsibilities that are specific to each registry but does not limit activities under direct physician supervision.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED required.
- Cardiac catheterization for diagnostic and interventional procedures experience.
- Cardiovascular patient care experience.
- Radiographic special procedures and/or hemodynamic monitoring experience accepted.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment related to changing daily work schedules, emergency and on-call procedures.
- Ability to work with patients with acute, chronic, and complex cardiac disease.
- Ability to maintain absolute integrity in the accurate performance and reporting of diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to learn techniques quickly and accurately.
