About The Position
Cardiac anesthesiologist opportunity with designated level 1 trauma center in Chicago, IL, serving a diverse patient population on the west side of Chicago. The main campus of this major city hospital is situated next to Douglass Park. Requirements
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- TEE proficiency is required
- Completion of Cardiac Fellowship
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a physician
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
