About The Position

The Card Services Specialist will ensure the efficient flow and handle daily processing of debit and credit card transactions, debit card disputes, Instant Issues, ATM processing, and balance general ledger accounts. Requirements

• A minimum education of high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated ability to produce documents, spreadsheets, databases, etc. with Windows-based software.
• Basic Accounting knowledge regarding general ledgers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the flow and processing of transactions related to the debit and credit card programs.
• Adheres to regulations and submits debit and credit card disputes within the allotted timeline. Analyzes fraud trends and reports them to the Card Services Manager.
• Daily reconciliation of ATM settlements, verifies deposits, general ledger postings, and balancing, and prepares cash for replenishment for ATMs.
• Prints and mails instant issue debit and credit cards to members.
• Reconciles daily the settlements of debit, credit cards, and ATMs.
• Maintains confidentiality and integrity of all member accounts as well as confidentiality with employees. Follow all credit union policies and procedures, including policies and procedures for customer identification and all BSA requirements.
