About The Position

The Card Services Manager is a hands-on leadership role, that directs the daily operations of the Card Service department. This includes oversight of all card programs, ensuring operational accuracy and regulatory compliance, and providing exceptional member service.

Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years of similar or related experience
  • A significant level of trust and diplomacy, as this position has extensive personal contact with members, and can be of a sensitive nature
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, project management, and vendor management

Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to expert on systems, policies and procedures related to card services
  • Manage account research, escalated disputes and service issues, member and internal support, and operational reporting
  • Resolve member needs and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy
  • Identify enhancements in daily operations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and improved member experience
  • Oversee the installation and implementation of department-related operating systems and enhancements
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to card service department staff to elevate performance and align operations with organizational goals
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality member service and operational excellence
