About The Position

Penske Collision Center, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is hiring Car Washers to clean and prepare display inventory vehicles and provide customers with a positive experience by making vehicles shine. Candidates with relevant experience or entry-level applicants with a general labor background will be considered. The position requires a valid driver's license. Employees under 18 may not drive vehicles off dealership premises.

The position works standard business hours, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Work takes place in a covered area and outdoors, with potential exposure to heat, cold, hazards, and noise. The job involves medium physical work, including lifting, pulling, or pushing up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, or 10 pounds constantly, as well as standing, sitting, crawling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and grasping. The role also requires the ability to talk and hear.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to safely drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to understand and follow work rules, procedures, and written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within prescribed routines and standard practices.
• Ability to interact well with others, work in a team environment, and work with a diverse group of people.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to meet the physical demands described, including lifting, pushing, or pulling and standing, sitting, crawling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and grasping.
• Ability to work in a covered area and outdoors, with possible exposure to heat, cold, hazards, and noise.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
