About The Position

Penske Rapid Repair, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is hiring Car Washers to clean and prepare display inventory vehicles and provide customers with a positive experience by making vehicles shine. Candidates with prior experience and entry-level candidates with a general labor background will be considered. Hiring is immediate.

The position operates during standard business hours, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. The work takes place in a covered area and outdoors, where employees may encounter heat, cold, hazards, and noise. Applicants must have a valid driver's license; applicants under 18 may not drive vehicles off the dealership premises. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus at least three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Six months or more of related experience or training is preferred.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus three months or more of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to safely drive vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to understand and follow work rules, procedures, and detailed written, oral, or diagram-based instructions using common sense.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within provided instructions and standard practices.
• Ability to interact well with others, work in a team environment, and work well with a diverse group of people.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus six months or more of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience or a background in general labor.
