About The Position

Penske Rapid Repair, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is hiring Car Washers to clean and prepare display inventory vehicles and help provide customers with an excellent experience by making vehicles shine. Candidates with experience and entry-level applicants with a general labor background will be considered. The role requires safely driving vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions, following instructions and work procedures, working independently and with a team, and interacting well with customers and colleagues. The position works in a covered area and outdoors, where employees may encounter heat, cold, hazards, and noise. Physical duties include standing, sitting, crawling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and grasping, as well as occasionally lifting, pulling, or pushing up to 50 pounds. Hours are standard business hours, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. A valid driver's license is required; employees under 18 may not drive vehicles off dealership premises. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to safely drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to perform basic math.
Ability to understand and follow work rules, procedures, and written, oral, or diagram-based instructions.
Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions and accepted practices.
Ability to interact well with others and work in a team with a diverse group of people.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, sitting, crawling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, grasping, and handling the stated lifting, pulling, and pushing requirements.
