About The Position

The Car Wash Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a car wash site, focusing on growing sales volume, increasing site profitability, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves managing a team, including recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management, while adhering to company policies and safety procedures. The manager must maintain a strong understanding of P&L metrics and their impact on business margins.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a management role.
Strong leadership and communication skills including active listening.
Experience with team building.
Excellent sales and customer service skills.
Ability to anticipate customer needs.
Proficient computer skills.
Strong work ethic and professional attitude.
An unexpired Driver’s License is required.
Motor vehicle record check “MVR” will be run on the successful candidate post-offer.

Nice To Haves

Some college preferred.
Supervisory or assistant manager experience from a Big Box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Successfully recruit and onboard new employees, train and coach staff, and schedule employee shifts while adhering to overtime policies.
Perform activities related to employee engagement, performance management, and recognition.
Maintain a focus on growing sales volume and increasing site profitability.
Manage operating P&L metrics and understand how expenditures/costs impact business margins and pricing.
Ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of inquiries, incidents, and issues.
Ensure the site follows all approved safety procedures.
Ensure the site follows all approved vehicle damage claim procedures.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
