About The Position

The Car Wash Shift Supervisor is responsible for providing prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly, and attentive manner. This role involves greeting customers, answering questions, and explaining wash options. The supervisor ensures customer satisfaction and timely reporting of any inquiries, incidents, or issues. They must be able to perform all Car Wash Attendant duties, troubleshoot basic XPT and DRB issues following the "DRB Protocol", and complete "Supervisor Level DRB" training and Preventative Maintenance Training. The position requires reporting to work on time, adhering to the dress and appearance code, and having a minimum of 6 months as a Car Wash Attendant (CWA) before advancement. The role is primarily focused on customer interaction (60%), site upkeep (30%), opening/closing procedures (5%), and basic troubleshooting (5%).

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills including active listening.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills.
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs.
  • Able to work weekends.
  • Able to demonstrate responsibility while Site Manager is off site.
  • Minimum 6 months as CWA before advancement.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service and some Car Wash experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly, and attentive manner.
  • Greet customers, answer questions, and explain wash options.
  • Ensure customers are satisfied and report inquiries, incidents, and issues in a timely manner.
  • Complete all Car Wash Attendant job duties.
  • Troubleshoot basic XPT and DRB issues following "DRB Protocol".
  • Complete "Supervisor Level DRB" training course.
  • Attend Preventative Maintenance Training and complete 5 Day Preventative Maintenance.
  • Report to work on time and follow the dress and appearance code.
  • Perform site upkeep, including cleaning and maintaining the site.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures.
  • Enforce all safety policies.
  • Understand the functions of all chemical room equipment.
  • Assist Site Manager with tunnel and chemical room equipment repairs.
  • Clean out solenoids.
  • Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.
