About The Position

The Car Wash Assistant Manager Level 1 is responsible for functioning as the manager in charge when the Site Manager is unavailable. This role involves overseeing operations, training new hires and existing team members on various procedures and sales techniques, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of the car wash facility. The Assistant Manager must be capable of performing responsibilities with minimal supervision and adhering to all safety guidelines.

Requirements

High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred.
Leadership and communication skills including active listening.
Experience with team building.
Excellent sales and customer service skills.
Ability to anticipate customer needs.
Proficient computer skills.
Strong work ethics and professional attitude.
Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory/management role.
Candidates with supervisory experience from a Big Box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Function as the manager in charge when Site Manager is unavailable.
Responsible for ordering and stocking of vending.
Effectively provide training to new hires.
Able to train on Opening/Closing checklists and proper loading techniques to teammates.
Responsible for training Fast Pass sales techniques to the team.
Professionally respond to voicemails and emails in a timely manner.
Able to create an effective schedule.
Complete knowledge of Car Wash vacuum system operation.
Able to clean the vacuum system (pressure washing the system).
Support the Site Manager during monthly team meetings.
Assist with on-site Supervisor Courses.
Supervise teammates completing PM and assess if further training is needed.
Complete the GSR Daily Breakdown.
