Car Wash Assistant Manager Level 1
About The Position
The Car Wash Assistant Manager Level 1 is responsible for functioning as the manager in charge when the Site Manager is unavailable. This role involves ordering and stocking vending items, providing training to new hires, and ensuring adherence to opening/closing checklists and proper loading techniques. The Assistant Manager will also train the team on Fast Pass sales techniques, professionally handle voicemails and emails, and create effective schedules. A thorough understanding of the Car Wash vacuum system operation, including cleaning and pressure washing, is required. The position supports the Site Manager during monthly team meetings, assists with on-site Supervisor Courses, and supervises teammates completing PM tasks, assessing the need for further training.
Requirements
- High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred.
- Leadership and communication skills including active listening.
- Experience with team building.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong work ethics and professional attitude.
- Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory/management role.
- Candidates with supervisory experience from a Big Box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

- Support the Site Manager during monthly team meetings.

- Supervise teammates completing PM and assess if further training is needed.
- Complete the GSR Daily Breakdown.
