About The Position

Carvana is seeking an entry-level Lot Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles at its Market Hubs. The role involves coordinating with coworkers to support timely deliveries and high customer satisfaction. Team members are expected to represent Carvana’s brand and values and work collaboratively in a changing, active Market Operations environment. This is a full-time position. The pay range is $16–$17 per hour, with starting pay of $16 per hour. Through the performance-based Careers Not Jobs program, eligible team members may receive a $0.25 hourly increase every 90 days, with opportunities at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently and carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and frequently stretch, reach, walk, stoop, push, and/or pull.
Must have excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
Must be able to drive frequently and perform some typing.
Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.

High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

Inspect each vehicle for mechanical, drivability, or cosmetic concerns.
Wash and vacuum inventory regularly.
Complete a multi-point inspection on arriving inventory, including checking fuel level, safety features, drivability, and proper display of company and state disclosures.
Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and external vendors.
Communicate and interact with team members and management across the business.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
