About The Position

Carvana is hiring an entry-level Lot Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles at its Market Hubs. The role coordinates with coworkers to support timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. The position is part-time and offers a starting rate of $15 per hour, with performance-based increases of $0.25 every 90 days for eligible team members, up to $16 per hour after 12 months through the Careers Not Jobs program. The job requires regular, predictable attendance and is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record for the past three years.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently and carry and transport up to 60 pounds for up to 20 feet.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and frequently stretch, reach, walk, stoop, push, and/or pull.
• Must have excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Must be able to drive frequently and perform some typing.
• Must use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect each vehicle for mechanical, drivability, or cosmetic concerns.
• Wash and vacuum inventory regularly.
• Complete a multi-point inspection of arriving inventory, including checking fuel level and safety features, conducting a drivability test, and ensuring company and state disclosures are properly displayed.
• Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and external vendors.
• Communicate and interact with team members and management across the business.
• Coordinate with coworkers to support timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
