About The Position

Carvana is hiring an entry-level Lot Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles at its Market Hubs. The role involves coordinating with coworkers to support timely deliveries and strong customer satisfaction. The position is full-time and offers a starting rate of $17 per hour, with a stated pay range of $17–$18 per hour. Through the performance-based Careers Not Jobs program, eligible team members may receive a $0.25 hourly pay increase every 90 days, progressing through four merit opportunities during the first year.

The role requires regular and predictable attendance, frequent driving, and some typing. Work takes place outdoors in all weather conditions and may involve cold, hot, noisy, wet environments and exposure to fumes or odors from vehicle maintenance. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record for the past three years.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently and carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and frequently stretch, reach, walk, stoop, push, and/or pull.
• Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Requires frequent driving and some typing.
• Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect each vehicle for mechanical, drivability, or cosmetic concerns.
• Wash and vacuum inventory regularly.
• Complete a multi-point inspection on arriving inventory, including checking fuel level and safety features, conducting a drivability test, and ensuring company and state disclosures are properly displayed.
• Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and external vendors.
• Communicate and interact with team members and management across all lines of the business.
• Adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
