About The Position

Carvana is hiring entry-level Lot Attendants for its Market Hubs. The role focuses on maintaining vehicle cleanliness and appearance and coordinating with coworkers to support timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. The position is full-time, with a stated pay range of $17–$18 per hour. Starting pay is $17 per hour, with performance-based increases of $0.25 at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months through the Careers Not Jobs program. The posting also offers PTO and paid holidays, including the employee’s birthday. Candidates must be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, and have a clean driving record for the past three years. A high school diploma or equivalent is desirable. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship, and applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. The work involves extended standing and frequent stretching, reaching, walking, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Employees must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and work in environments that may be cold, hot, noisy, wet, or exposed to vehicle-maintenance fumes or odors. Frequent driving and some typing are required. Safety equipment may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments or equipment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently and carry and transport up to 60 pounds for up to 20 feet.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and frequently stretch, reach, walk, stoop, push, and/or pull.
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in environments that may be cold, hot, noisy, wet, or have vehicle-maintenance fumes or odors.
Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
Requires frequent driving and some typing.
Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

Inspect each vehicle for mechanical, drivability, or cosmetic concerns.
Wash and vacuum inventory regularly.
Complete a multi-point inspection of arriving inventory, including checking fuel level and safety features, conducting a drivability test, and ensuring company and state disclosures are properly displayed.
Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and external vendors.
Communicate and interact with team members and management across the business.
Coordinate with fellow employees to support timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
