About The Position

Carvana is seeking entry-level Lot Attendants to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles at its Market Hubs. The role coordinates with coworkers to support timely deliveries and strong customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, washing and vacuuming inventory, and completing multi-point inspections of incoming vehicles. The position requires regular and predictable attendance, frequent driving, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. It is full-time, with a starting rate of $15 per hour and a stated pay range of $15–$16 per hour. Under the performance-based Careers Not Jobs program, eligible team members may receive a $0.25 hourly pay increase every 90 days, with four merit opportunities annually. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a clean driving record for the past three years.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently and carry and transport up to 60 pounds for up to 20 feet.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and frequently stretch, reach, walk, stoop, push, and/or pull.
• Must have excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Must use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Must have regular and predictable attendance.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
• The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Inspect each vehicle for mechanical, drivability, or cosmetic concerns.
• Wash and vacuum inventory regularly.
• Complete multi-point inspections on arriving inventory, including checking fuel level, safety features, drivability, and proper display of company and state disclosures.
• Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and external vendors.
• Communicate and interact with team members and management across the business.
• Adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
