About The Position

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Car Delivery Driver to deliver orders and support bakery operations. Drivers deliver warm, complete orders safely and accurately, provide friendly guest service, and use GPS and delivery technology to navigate efficiently. Between deliveries, they help prepare and package orders, assist with baking as needed, operate the register, and maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe bakery. The role combines time in the bakery with driving in varying weather and traffic conditions. Peak business hours include evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, with scheduling needs varying by location. The position requires a valid driver's license and safe driving record, access to a reliable insured vehicle meeting company requirements, current auto insurance meeting state minimums, and a smartphone that can run company delivery applications. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Physical activities include driving for extended periods; entering and exiting a vehicle; standing and walking; carrying orders up to 30 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance; and reaching, bending, twisting, and kneeling. Work takes place around bakery ovens, refrigeration equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise. Employment is contingent on applicable pre-employment checks and requirements.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements.
Current auto insurance that meets state minimum requirements.
Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications.
Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to drive safely for extended periods, frequently enter and exit a vehicle, and stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift, carry, and transport orders weighing up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Ability to reach, bend, twist, kneel, and carry bakery products.
Ability to work in varying weather and traffic conditions and around ovens, refrigeration equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership.

Operate the register and process guest transactions.
Keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe.
Work with the bakery team to keep orders moving quickly and accurately.
Help create a positive guest experience.
