About The Position

Insomnia Cookies is hiring a Car Delivery Driver for its Colorado Springs bakery. The driver delivers cookies, milk, ice cream, and other orders to customers while serving as a friendly representative of the company. The role also supports bakery operations between deliveries by assisting guests, preparing and packaging orders, baking and packaging treats, operating the register, and keeping the bakery clean, stocked, organized, and food-safe. The position combines driving, customer service, and teamwork in a fast-paced bakery and delivery environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements; must have valid registration and current auto insurance meeting state minimum requirements.
• Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications; a data plan is required.
• Must be able to pass a motor vehicle background check and applicable pre-employment checks.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to drive safely for extended periods, frequently enter and exit a vehicle, and stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport orders weighing up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, kneel, and carry bakery products.
• Ability to work in varying weather and traffic conditions and communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver cookies, milk, ice cream, and other orders safely, accurately, and on time.
• Ensure orders arrive warm, complete, and ready to impress.
• Navigate efficiently using GPS and delivery technology while following safe driving practices and traffic laws.
• Provide positive, professional customer service in person and by phone, and welcome bakery guests between deliveries.
• Use the company delivery app according to approved standards and provide customers with accurate status updates.
• Assist with preparing, packaging, and organizing delivery and pickup orders.
• Help bake and package cookies and other treats as needed.
• Operate the register and process guest transactions.
• Keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe.
• Work with the bakery team to keep orders moving quickly and accurately and help create a positive guest experience.
