About The Position

As a Cookie Crew Delivery Driver at Insomnia Cookies, you deliver customer orders safely and accurately while providing friendly hospitality. When not making deliveries, you support bakery operations by welcoming guests, preparing and packaging orders, helping bake treats, operating the register, and keeping the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe. The role splits time between the bakery and the road, with availability needed during peak evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday hours. Scheduling needs vary by location.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements.
• Current auto insurance meeting state minimum requirements.
• Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications.
• Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to drive safely for extended periods, frequently enter and exit a vehicle, and stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport orders weighing up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, kneel, and carry bakery products.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and around ovens, refrigeration equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate bakery noise.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Insomnia Cookies orders safely, accurately, and with a smile.
• Ensure orders arrive warm, complete, and ready to impress.
• Use GPS and delivery technology to navigate efficiently while following safe driving practices.
• Welcome bakery guests and provide friendly service between deliveries.
• Assist with preparing, packaging, and organizing delivery and pickup orders.
• Help bake and package cookies and other treats as needed.
• Operate the register and process guest transactions.
• Keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe.
• Work with the bakery team to keep orders moving quickly and accurately.
• Help create a positive guest experience.
