AECOM is seeking a Capture Manager that will work out of the Arlington, VA office. This role takes leadership initiative in end-to-end capture of federal civilian and defense opportunities from lead generation to pre-positioning to proposal development and interview preparation. The Capture Manager develops capture plans and assists with formulation of win strategy and themes. They work with content creators, marketing, operations, legal and other partners to develop responses to Sources Sought Notices, RFI’s, Market Research queries, RFQ’s and RFP’s from Federal Departments and Agencies. This role also conducts competitor analysis, assists with teaming including team member identification, initial contact, and communication leading to teaming agreements. The Capture Manager identifies personnel to be proposed for roles based on the scope of work, deliverables and client expectations. They track and manage the pipeline of opportunities including Salesforce entries and Workbench set up, and manage the pursuit budget. Additionally, they assist with submissions for legal reviews and preparation for risk reviews, attend relevant industry events and occupy leadership positions in professional associations and societies. This role also assists with attracting talent to AECOM and maintains a database of debrief information and utilizes the information as appropriate. The Capture Manager leads opportunities where AECOM is a subconsultant/subcontractor and supports Prime Contractors, including small businesses, in RFQ/RFP response preparation. Finally, they assist with pricing and labor rate development and coordinate pricing reviews with internal stakeholders.
