About The Position
Recognized for more than a century as the iconic address for Dallas hospitality, The Adolphus offers timeless culture, vibrant and storied surroundings, imaginative and collaborative food and drink, and immersive experiences. In it's reimagining, the 407 room downtown hotel recalls a grand European home. Possessing a love for food and a passion for hospitality, this individual stays curious and craves knowledge. This team member is able to solve problems diplomatically and helps to create thoughtful teaching moments for their fellow team members on all things service, menus, and beverage pairings. Their primary role as senior server on the floor is to help create memorable guest experiences for all that walk in the door.
Requirements
- Ability to create meaningful relationships with guests
- Strong organizational skills; keen eye for detail
- Ability to carry food and drink trays
Responsibilities
- Record guests’ orders; have a keen eye for detail for allergens, special requests and noted information
- Through understanding and knowledge of food and beverage menu options; able to adeptly make recommendations to guests
- Understanding of Kitchen timing; ability to stay organized and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
- Oversee team members as needed
